Volunteering at a School near the Myanmar Border

On 13 September, grade 11 and 12 students volunteered at Ban Tha Makham School in Suan Phueng district near the Myanmar border. Dhammajarinee students designed and carried out all the activities themselves, including preparing a delicious noodle lunch and creating fun educational games for the children. Afterwards, students helped clean the grounds at a nearby temple and made traditional offerings to the monks. These activities, besides developing valuable teamwork and leadership skills, cultivated kindness and an attitude of giving.

We are grateful to the Ban Tha Makham School, principal, and teachers for such a warm reception. The experience gave our students a very special, memorable experience.
