On 27 August, IVL Foundation generously supported five DWS seniors aspiring to apply for medical school to join a guidance seminar hosted by Operation Smile Thailand. The theme of the webinar was, “Doctors of Tomorrow in the Digital Age.” Doctors from a variety of universities and hospitals in Thailand discussed topics including the importance of innovation in helping patients, the role of data management in the medical field, and an understanding of the medical courses offered at universities in Thailand. Medical students also joined the event to answer questions such as the difficulty of medical school and what jobs are available after graduation. It was a great opportunity for our students, and we are grateful for IVL’s support in making it possible for them to attend.
